Photography remains a hobby of mine at the moment. I enjoy capturing the elements of life such as color, form, movement, expression, and composition. It is both a way for me to express what I see in the world around me to others, and for me to capture things in my life as permanent memories. The digital world of photography has enabled me to do this on a much greater and faster scale, preserving many valuable moments and beautiful things in life.
Although I consider photography a hobby, I am interested in expanding my horizons and am willing to do shoots upon request. In addition, if there are images you are interested in getting prints of, please feel free to contact me (subject: "photo prints").

Composition, lighting, color, all define the meaning, emotion, and depth of a photo.
Although photography has some key basics when it comes to proper exposure and focus, other elements have a more subjective meaning and are often manipulated to communicate the essence of the moment captured. As a photographer I make an effort to manipulate these elements to create the image. An elegant photo can be greatly compromised by an awkward composition that distracts the eye from the most important emotional elements. I therefore relentlessly strive
with every photo to capture the optimal composition that compliments the images adjacent elements and end meaning.
Lighting and color are often left to the existing conditions of the environment at the time the photo is taken. However, their qualities can have a large impact on the composition and are therefore equally important when creating an image. Lighting and color are often left to the existing conditions of the environment at the time the photo is taken. Whether the subject is completely illuminated or is presented with sharp shadows, the shapes
created by its figure impact the final composition. Additionally, lighting and color reflects the emotion of the photo. Some of which may be altered via post process methods to enhance the essence of the image. I find that all of these elements factoring into photography make it an intriguing art that is equally creative and observational.
