ScoutCountry aims at providing a smoother and more advanced process through scouting.
Working as the design director for ScoutCountry, I am developing both the product branding and the product interface. Branding elements are developed with efforts to pull the adventurous appeal of the outdoors into the product's interface while keeping a clean usable work space with intuative interactive elements. The mountains and sunrise draw the user into the product and the adventure of scouting. Branding logo uses graphic simplification of this element combined with the fleur de li as the universal scouting symbol. The logo typeface, Goudy Old Style, adds the traditional appeal of scouting and the values that are carried through the scouting experience.
Full product is under development with projection of Silverlight elements, and full web access to database. I continue to enjoy working on this project and the opportunities it brings in the field of design as well as providing a solution in the scouting experience.
